Wind farm Laxåskogen
In 2017 the construction of Vindpark Laxåskogen began and start of operation took place during the winter 2019. The wind farm, which consists of 7 wind turbines, is located in a forest area about 5 km south of Laxå. The wind turbines are connected to Ellevio's local grid, which means that the electricity produced in the wind farm is consumed in the immediate vicinity of the wind farm.
The forest area for the wind farm is owned by Sveaskog. The wind turbines are manufactured and erected by Siemens, who also perform service and maintenance work in the wind turbines.
Energy consult Sverige AB is responsible for operations of the windfarm.
